Vitamins

VITAMINS are part of the nutrients required to sustain life. The foods that we eat in our normal diet may not supply the full amount of vitamins that our body needs each day. Vitamins boost energy.*

VITAMIN A (as Palmitate):

Is needed by the body for healthy eyes, skin, bones and teeth.* Protein cannot be utilized without this supplement*. Vitamin A is essential for skeletal growth, testicular and ovarian function, embryonic development, and differentiation of tissues.* It is needed for healthy functioning of eyes, and necessary for sight in partial darkness.* In addition, vitamin A is required for adequate immune system response, builds the body’s resistance to respiratory infections, and helps form and maintain healthy skin, hair, and mucous membranes.*

BETA CAROTENE (as Betatene natural mixed carotenoids):

Another source of vitamin A, Carotenes present in this natural mix are not present in synthetic beta-carotene. These carotenes are beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin, lutein, and lycopene. The body can convert alpha-carotene and cryptoxanthin to vitamin A.* Laboratory experiments have shown their value in preventing free radical damage and cardiovascular disease* Lutein and zeaxanthin reduce the risk of macular degeneration, a leading cause of blindness.* Lutein has been shown to protect against age-related blindness.* Epidemiological studies reveal that large doses of dietary lutein dramatically reduce the incidence of lung cancer in smokers.*

VITAMIN C (as Ascorbic Acid and C-Curity):

Research done on C-Curity shows it to be the most advanced vitamin C complex available. It contains a combination of multiple molecular forms of Vitamin C related to L-ascorbic acid along with vitamin C enhancers. C-Curity contains; L-Ascorbic acid, Dehydroascorbic acid, Iscorbic acid, Ascorbigen, and Ascorbyl palmitate. C-Curity will assist your body to: Reduce allergies, promote longer life, reduce birth defects, prevent hypertension, promote better vision, produce healthy sperm, promote wound healing, work with other nutrients, ward off the common cold, promote absorption of inorganic iron, prevent buildup of plasma cholesterol, prevent scurvy, both clinical and subclinical.* Studies have shown Vitamin C can help prevent changes in proteins in the eye that cause cataracts.* It has also been shown to protect against the effects of pollution and cigarette smoke.*

VITAMIN D-3 (as Cholecalciferol):

Helpful for normal growth and development of bones and teeth.* Used to help prevent and treat osteoporosis, rickets, and hypoglycemia.* Enhances the immune system.* It has also been shown to reduce the rate of colon cancer.* Vitamin D-3 is essential for the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the gastrointestinal tract.*

VITAMIN E

Helps improve circulation, normal clotting and healing.* Helps prevent cataracts, leg cramps and pre-mature aging.* Reduces scarring and blood pressure.* May be helpful with premenstrual syndrome and fibrocystic breasts.* Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and helps protect against free radical damage such as guarding lungs against air pollutants from ozone, nitrous oxide, and cigarette smoke.* Vitamin E may also help minimize complications from aging.*

THIAMIN (Vitamin B-1 as Thiamin Mononitrate):

Enhances circulation, assists in production of hydrochloric acid, blood formation, and carbohydrate metabolism.* Improves energy, can prevent growth disorders, and improve learning capacity. * Is needed for normal muscle tone of intestines, stomach and heart.* Vitamin B-1 helps keep mucous membranes healthy.* Alcohol consumption, breast-feeding, pregnancy, prolonged diarrhea, and burns may lower thiamin levels.*

RIBOFLAVIN (Vitamin B-2 ):

Necessary for red blood cell formation, antibody production, cell respiration and growth.* It helps alleviate eye fatigue.* Aids in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.* Facilitates oxygen use by body tissues for healthy skin, nails, and hair.* Vitamin B-2 appears to decrease a craving for sugar.*

NIACIN (Vitamin B-3 as Niacinamide):

Enhances memory and helps combat stress.* Releases energy from foods, for better utilization of fats, reduction of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood.* It promotes growth, proper function of skin, nerves, gastrointestinal tract, and tissue respiration.* It is necessary for metabolism of sugar.*

VITAMIN B-6 (as Pyridoxine Hydrochloride):

Helps with the normal function of the brain.* Helps maintain chemical balance among body fluids, regulates excretion of water and, helps in energy production.* Involved in red blood cell formation, synthesis of RNA and DNA, activates many enzymes and aids in the absorption of B-12.* It builds the immune system and helps produce antibodies.* It also helps combat stress and lowers homocysteine levels.*

FOLIC ACID (Vitamin B-9 as Folate):

“A brain food.” Needed for energy production and formation of red blood cells, healthy cell division and replication.* May help with depression and anxiety.* Regulates embryonic and fetal development of nerve cells.* Folic acid may also help prevent gum disease, and regress precancerous cells in the cervix.*

VITAMIN B-12 (as Cyanocobalamin):

Helps with the prevention of anemia.* Aids in cell formation and cellular longevity.* It is involved with digestion, absorption of foods, protein synthesis, metabolism of carbohydrates and fats.* It helps prevent nerve damage, maintains fertility, and promotes normal growth and development.* It also fights fatigue, increases learning, and lowers homocysteine levels.* Vitamin B-12 is one of many important nutrients needed by the body to rebuild a weak immune system.*

BIOTINĀ® (a B Vitamin):

Biotin is essential for cellular growth, fatty acid production, metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, and helps lower homocysteine levels.*

PANTOTHENIC ACID (B-5 as d-Calcium Pantothenate):

Involved in antibody formation, and is a detoxifier.* It is needed for carbohydrate, fat, and protein conversion.* It is needed for cortisone production, normal growth and energy, stress tolerability, and vitamin utilization.* It aids in the release of energy from foods and helps synthesize numerous body materials.*

CHOLINE (as Choline Bitartrate B vitamin family):

Helps lower homocysteine levels like all B vitamins.* This nutrient is beneficial to the gallbladder, hair, kidneys, liver, and thymus glands.* Helps prevent gallstones, aids in lecithin formation, liver and gallbladder regulation, metabolism of fats and cholesterol, and nerve transmission.*

INOSITOL (as Inositol Monophosphate B Vitamin family):

Vital for hair growth, helps prevent hardening of the arteries, important in lecithin formation, fat and cholesterol metabolism.* It removes fat from the liver.*
